THE FIRST EVENT WINNER

The first event of the ECOOP V was disputed in the modality of no Limit Holdem and the buy in prize was $215.

A total of 1.241 players took part in this poker tournament, and from them the last ten that arrived to the final table ensured a minimum winning of $3.500.
The final winner of this poker competition was “Thanansis 1982”, who defeated “Analika” in the final heads up, bringing home a fantastic prize of $52.5000 and $24.500 respectively.

THE BEGINNING OF THE TOURNAMENT

Yesterday has started the fifth edition of the biggest online poker tournament, which is the European Championship Of Online Poker.

This tournament will last 14 days and therefore it will finish on the 6th of December. The participation is as in the previous editions very high, and the prize pool it will be $4.5 million.
During the last months many online poker rooms celebrated satellite tournaments to classify for this competition, as for instance Poker 770.

Each day there will be a different event in a particular poker modality. The schedule for the tournament is as follows:

Nov. 29 — $500 + $35 no-limit hold’em - prize pool $500,000
Nov. 30 — $2,500 + $100 no-limit hold’em - prize pool $500,000
Dic. 1 — $100 + $9 pot-limit Omaha rebuy/add on - prize pool $150,000
Dic. 2 — $300 + $20 no-limit hold’em six max - prize pool $300,000
Dic. 3 — $200 + $15 limit hold’em six-max - prize pool $100,000
